Returns
and Exchanges

Returns
Returns will be accepted for any reason whatsoever (size, color, etc.)
within 30 days of the original purchase date. Merchandise must be
in original, new condition and still have the tags and packaging so that
it may be restocked and resold. All returns require a return
authorization number (see below).
Shipping Charges on Returns
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to pay for return shipping.
However, in the event that the return is necessary because of an error
on our part, we will gladly pay the return shipping.
Full returns (all items returned):
On any transaction where SailingGear.Com provided free shipping, the cost
of the original shipping to the purchaser will be deducted from the
amount of the credit due.
Partial Returns (some items returned):
On any transaction where SailingGear.Com provided free shipping, the cost
of the original shipping to the purchaser will be deducted from the
amount of the credit due when the balance on the items retained by the
purchaser is less than $50.00.Please contact us at
or 888-380-7245 for a return authorization number prior
to returning any merchandise. For your security and for tracking
purposes, we highly recommend that you use UPS or other insured carrier.

Manufacturers Lifetime Guarantee

Douglas Gill guarantees all of their products
against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the
product. In the unlikely event that you should experience a problem with a
piece of their gear, you can contact the manufacturer's Customer Service
Department to arrange the return of the product. If, after inspection,
the product is found to be defective, except from fair wear and tear during
the natural life of the garment, the manufacturer will repair or replace it
at their discretion, free of charge.

Regular washing of your garment will help prolong its life - providing the
washing instructions are followed. It is important to avoid using
biological detergents on waterproof clothing. Drip-dry only, unless
instructions state otherwise.
